MEETING MINUTES
NOVEMBER 13, 2008

Review and Acceptance of Minutes: Angela Knudson called meeting to order.
Board reviewed minutes from October 2008
• Ronda Kessler moved to accept, Mindy Wankier 2nd the motion, unanimous by board.
Club Business: Angela Knudson
’09 Spring Fees, All ages $82.00 dues by Jan. 31st
Club Timeline
Concern over calling parental input a parent survey. Orden said decision to be competitive was made when the trainers were hired. Mindy suggested calling something other than a survey. Carla, out the different levels of competition and what the expectations were for our club. Paul suggested we should discuss at the next meeting how to improve the club.
Andy- the kids who want to go home and practice bring the level of comp. up, those who don’t keep the level down.
Paul talked about the meeting with Trish, the new parks and rec coordinator. She has a lot of experience and wants good communication with Murray Max and to grow rec from 700 to 1000 to 1500 players. Rec to feed into competitive league.
Alan, we are in the 3rd leg of a 5year developmental plan for the club
We’re also working with lisencing coaches.
Board needs to train and orient new coaches.
Coaches to have meeting with new team each year. Layout costs fees, expectations.
Carla, Murray not be the biggest, but the best.
Alan, Example of Rangers and Rangers Academy for Murray Max to use model.
Coaches Feedback
Angela- building the club, Max cup. We need to be more united, input is important.
RSL tickets
Should we renew 20 tickets together for teams to attend a game.

Aug. 6-9, 2009
Tourneys for the state online in January.
Get rep. for the Max Cup in January.
Training Manual
Orden has not received feedback on the manual, would like some input.
Discussion on availability of club organization, coaching and training info.
Ronda suggested it would be best to put it online.
• Kelli motioned to put training manual on Max website, Joe 2nd, unanimous board approval.
Other Issues brought up
Coaches, other positions to get discount for time spent? Tabled for January
Insurance and liabilities of field and players, kids not Murray Max participating in a practce.
Angela motioned to adjourn meeting, Kellie 2nd.
